The amount anglers in Lincolnshire have been fined for fishing illegally

Illegal fishing by Lincolnshire anglers left them facing thousands in fines last year. Exclusive figures obtained under freedom of information laws show there were 46 prosecutions in Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire in 2018/19. Angling notes: Law approved for salmon and sea trout fisheries

The Minister with responsibility for inland fisheries, Sean Canney, has approved legislation that will govern Ireland’s wild salmon and sea trout fisheries, commencing on January 1st and continuing throughout 2020.
