Bon Jovi Cardiff: Superstar arrives in Wales to rock Cardiff

Jon Bon Jovi has arrived in Wales to play his gig at the Cardiff City Stadium tonight, the rock legend will play hits from his three-decade-long career, as well as performing songs from his latest album What About Now.

Bon Jovi have already rocked stadiums around the country while on their ‘Because We Can’ tour, and tonight they will set their sites on Cardiff, in a week that has already seen pop princess Rihanna take over the Millennium Stadium.

Rain is forecast for this evening, so if you’re going along to watch Jon and the the rest of Bon Jovi, then make sure you take a raincoat (and not an umbrella, unless you want to annoy the person behind you)!

While Richie Sambora is currently absent from the band, Phil X is filling in, and the press have so far had high praise for the guitarist, who is a prolific session guitarist and has played with Jon Bon Jovi before.

The band have received high praise generally so far on this tour, playing a hour long encore in Liverpool and blasting through hits such as ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’, and ‘Livin’ On a Prayer’.

If you are travelling to the gig from outside Cardiff, then be sure to leave plenty of time, the arrival of travelling fans is likely to coincide with busy rush hour traffic.
