CCFC EDUCATION & BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP

The newest addition to the flourishing family of education courses housed and offered by the Cardiff City FC Community Education Foundation is the Education Basketball Scholarship.

Utilising the state of the art House of Sport 2 Facility the programme will provide 16-19 year old learners with access to a first class education in a well structured sporting environment.

The programme – which is first and foremost an education programme – will offer potential candidates the opportunity to achieve the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (the equivalent to 3 A-Levels) and the GNVQ Level 2 in Activity Leadership.

As an added bonus, learners will also take part in a full basketball technical programme. Here they will receive coaching from fully qualified and experienced national league coaches and play in competitive fixtures against other colleges and universities.

INTERESTED? Come and find out more at our opening evening on Thursday 30th May at Cardiff City House of Sport 2 (5.30-6.30pm). CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE COURSE BROCHURE

The evening will offer potential candidates and parents a greater insight into what the programme has to offer. Following on from this there will then be an opportunity to watch a current National League Basketball Team being put through their paces during an open training session.

To confirm your attendance, please contact Simon Stephens on 07580 380414 or email futsal@cardiffcityfc.co.uk
