A cyclist who was yesterday injured in a collision with a car on a busy Cardiff road was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident involved a car and a cyclist at just before 7pm on Thursday, and the cyclist was taken to hospital with serious, but not life threatening, injuries.
It happened close to Thornhill’s Miller and Carter restaurant.
An eyewitness reported seeing multiple police vehicles – an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle from the Welsh Ambulance Service – and said some motorists had to turn around when they tried to approach the scene of the collision.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “Witnesses are asked to call police on 101 quoting reference: 1600202554.”
