Graduates in Cardiff did the Icelandic chant to celebrate

It’s one of the most iconic celebrations of Euro 2016 and now students in Cardiff have adopted the Icelandic ‘Huh’ chant to celebrate their graduation.

Hundreds of students graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University joined in with the chant at their ceremony on Wednesday.

Dressed in their caps and gowns, the graduates stand from their seats, clapping and shouting.

Iceland fans became renowned for their viking chant (or ‘Huh’ chant as we like to call it) during the Euro 2016 tournament.

The moment Wales players do the Icelandic ‘huh’ at their homecoming:

The supporters clap and shout in unison, starting off slow and gradually building the pace until a massive wall of noise is heard.

Wales players and fans have since adopted it and we’ve already seen thousands of people take part in it at Wales’ homecoming at Cardiff City Stadium.

We can’t wait to see where it will be popping up next!
