A mini festival will bring live music, pop-up street food and locally brewed beer and cider to Cardiff next month.
Alfie-Fest has already announced a line-up of street food vendors, beer and cider stalls and musicians.
Confirmed stalls so far include Dusty Knuckle Pizza , artisan street food vendor Bwydiful and craft ale vendor Alfie’s Beerbus.
The idea is the brainchild of Paul Cammack, owner and founder of Alfie’s Beer Bus, a mobile bar that sells artisan micro-brewed beer and cider from South Wales in a converted ice cream van.
It comes months after Paul, from Llanelli, was able to turn his dream into reality after a crowdfunding campaign helped him raise £5,000.
He’s hosting the event partly in aid of Parkinsons UK, which his mother has recently been diagnosed with, and said 10% of proceeds will go to the charity.
He said: “My mum has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and my fiancé’s nan has had it for 16 years and has quite severe symptoms, so it is a condition and a charity that is close to our hearts.
“We would love to give something back to say thank you for all the help and support Parkinson’s UK has given our families over the years.
“Alfie-fest really will have something for everyone so come and join us for a great night out.”

The free-to-attend festival will be at Printhaus, Canton on July 2 from 5pm until 11pm.
