Planning a trip to the Maes this year? We have all the information you will need to get to the National Eisteddfod 2012, from Saturday, August 4, until Saturday, August 11.

The finishing touches are being added to the site at Llandow Airfield in the Vale of Glamorgan but the weather forecast for the first weekend is not great.

Coming by car

There are two official routes to the festival site from M4 motorway. Visitors from the west should exit at junction 35 (Pencoed) while visitors from east and north should exit 33 (Cardiff West).

Coming by public transport

A shuttle bus will run from the Llantwit Major Station to the National Eisteddfod site, while a regular bus will run from Town Hall Square in Cowbridge.
