Pride Park Stadium evacuated ahead of Derby County vs Cardiff City

Pride Park Stadium has been evacuated ahead of Derby County’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Cardiff City.

The Rams are due to face the Bluebirds this evening in their first match after the September international break.

The players were out for their pre-match warm-up, before a message on the stadium’s tannoy system told supporters to head for the nearest exit.

It has been reported that a flare was found in the away end concourse which caused the evacuation.

Supporters and staff have been allowed back inside the stadium.

It is understood that the evacuation should not cause a delay to the match which is due to kick off at 7.45pm.
