Service bus bursts into flames in Cardiff city centre

A bus has burst into flames in the middle of Cardiff city centre.

The emergency services were called to Castle Street at 8.34pm where the bus had burst into flames outside the Angel Hotel.

Fire crews are still at the scene battling the fire using hose reel, foam jet and breathing apparatus.

The fire was caught on camera by film student Chris Lloyd as well as many other people on social media.

A spokeswoman from the fire service said no one was injured as a result of the fire and everyone on the bus was led safely off of the bus.

The police say they believe the fire was caused by an electrical fault but this was unconfirmed by the fire service.
