Watch a kayaker catch this live SHARK off the coast of West Wales

This video shows the moment a kayaker catches a live shark off the coast of West Wales.

It was taken and uploaded to Youtube by Greg Bowes, who was out fishing for tope sharks last week.

The video shows Greg throw some bait to the shark, who appears to surface next to his kayak.

Then, brave Greg reels in the shark and lifts it onto the boat, and appears to shout “thank you very much” before releasing it back into the water.

According to the Marine Conservation Society, tope sharks, also known as school sharks, are protected in England, Scotland and Wales and any caught by anglers must be returned alive.

They are found all around the world and can grow up to two metres long.
