Welsh Countryside Month: Relive our summer of country fun in Wales

Welsh Countryside Month
Welsh Countryside Month

A summer of countryside fun kicked off at the Royal Welsh Show in July and wound down in mid September when the Abergavenny Food Festival served up its final feast.

On the way, we visited the 2012 National Eisteddfod, in the Vale of Glamorgan, the Caerphilly Big Cheese Festival and joined the hoards of music lovers at the Green Man Festival and Brecon Jazz Fesitivals in the beautiful beacons.

Throughout the series, we asked readers and amateur photographers to submit their favourite snaps from around our wonderful country in our Postcards from Wales social networking group on the Flickr website
and took note of your favourite walking and cycling routes via our Twitter feed

Now it’s all over, take a look through and relive our magical summer of events.
