This was the scene in Gloucestershire as a car ended up in a small fishing lake earlier today.

She was swiftly rescued by firefighters in a boat and was uninjured.

A spokesman for the service said it Saturday morning’s incident appeared to have been an accident.

The location of the drama described by the service as near Staunton Court, in Staunton, north Gloucestershire.
