Thousands of people enjoyed the first day of the Wales National Airshow in Swansea .

Families lapped up displays by everything from a Chinook helicopter, the Black Cats helicopter display team, a Typhoon and the world famous Red Arrows.

And the good news is, it’s all happening again on Sunday with a second day of events planned – weather permitting.
