Brecon Jazz 2014: What’s the weather going to be like?

Even though it will be the height of summer, great weather is never guaranteed when you’re planning to go to a festival in August in Wales.

But if you’re heading to this year’s Brecon Jazz
festival then it’s not looking too bad at all, but rain is definitely on the cards at some point.

The festival
kicks-off on Thursday
with a concert from the legendary Burt Bacharach.

On the opening day it’s looking sunny with a maximum temperature of 19°C, so, while not exactly tropical, it’s not too bad, either.

Rain will be heading your way on Friday in the form of light showers but the temperature will still hold up at a pleasant, if not too warm 19°C. The rain is likely to get heavier as the day progresses.

On Saturday, in between the odd shower, there are still plenty of sunny intervals.

The worst of the weather will hit on Sunday when you should watch our for rain in the afternoon and into the evening. Definitely a day to take your brolly!

But when you have a whole programme of great musicians to listen to
, it doesn’t really matter what the weather’s like, does it?
