Cardiff born Dannie had followed the club since an early age, and despite his medical and literary career taking him to London, regularly travelled back to Ninian Park and Cardiff City Stadium to support his beloved Bluebirds.
An award winning author and poet, Dannie was held in the highest regard – his list of respected works including Cardiff City poem ‘The Game’.
Our sympathies are with Dannie’s family at this time, while a full tribute will be run in our next match programme on Saturday 18 October. He will be sadly missed.
