Cardiff Blues unveil new kit for 15/16 season

The latest home shirt takes a more modern approach on the classic Cardiff Blues hoops. The shirt features blue pin stripes on navy, complemented by blue sleeves. The kit was seen for the very first time on the players when Cardiff Blues ran out to face Dragons at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.

The alternate shirt is in crisp white with navy detail. The shirt continues the modern design and features a double pinstripe in navy, created using the chevron from the Cardiff Blues crest. The away jersey was unveiled as the team ran out for the second half against Dragons.

Canterbury’s traditional yet innovative 360° loop bound neckline is a feature on both of the latest shirts and has been used in Canterbury’s sports apparel since 1949, having evolved to withstand every physicality of the game, and is Canterbury’s toughest collar to date.

Canterbury CEO, Chris Stephenson, said: “The latest shirt is a modern interpretation of the classic kit Cardiff Blues fans know and love. This modern twist continues to feature the cutting-edge fabric technologies Canterbury are renowned for. We hope fans enjoy the new design this season.”

Canterbury, official sportswear supplier to Rugby World Cup 2015, has launched its global “Committed to The Game” campaign celebrating the commitment of the global rugby community whether they be players, fans or volunteers.

Both the home and alternate shirts are available to purchase now from the store at Cardiff Blues.
