Joe Richards takes a look at the Bluebirds currently out on loan

Full back Kevin McNaughton started Neil Lennon’s first game in charge of Bolton Wanderers whilst young striker Joe Mason was an unused substitute in the game against Birmingham City. Defender Matt Mills’ first half-header was enough to give the Trotters only their second win of the season and lift them off the foot of the table. It was an eventful game at St Andrews as Craig Davies missed a late penalty and former Celtic boss Lennon was sent to the stands.
Also in Championship action was Blackpool goalkeeper Joe Lewis, who was involved in a goal-filled match against Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium. Unfortunately for Lewis it finished 4-2 to the Terriers, despite this, our on loan stopper put in some excellent saves to keep his side in the game.

Also in League 1, Rhys Healey came off the bench for Colchester United in their 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe United. Healey couldn’t find a winning goal in the twenty minutes he was on the pitch as first-half goals from Rory Fallon and Freddie Sears meant a share of the spoils in what was Mark Robins’ first game in charge of the Iron.
