Academy at Spytty Park for FAW Youth Cup tie
City’s Academy travel to face local rivals Newport County in the FAW Youth Cup second round, tonight Wednesday, 30th October 2013, kick-off 7pm.
The second round tie will take place at Newport Stadium, Spytty Park. Entry is priced at £3.00 for Adults and FREE ENTRY to Senior Citizens (Over 65), Juveniles (Under 16).
City’s under-18s made it through to the second round of the competition following an impressive first round 6-1 victory over Treowen Stars on Sunday, 29th September, a hat-trick from Eli Phipps in the first-half firmly putting City in command. An Ellis Bellamy brace and strike from Gary Lavoury completed a comprehensive victory at Cardiff Athletic Stadium.
