Data below shows the average taxes paid and benefits received by households across the UK.
Overall rate and number of C Diff and MRSA cases are down across Wales from 2010/11 to 2011/12 and 2011/12 to 2012/13 but the number of cases hasn’t fallen by the 20% target in the most recent year – 9.4% and 18.2% respectively.
The rate and number of MSSA cases are up from 2011/12 and 2012/13, cases are up by 11.6%.
Betsi Cadwaladr has seen a 6.7% increase in C Diff cases from 2011/12 to 2012/13, from 597 cases to 637, and Powys has seen a 25% increase (but that is from 16 to 20). Hywell Dda and Abertawe Bro Morgannwg made the 20% target.
Cwm Taf has seen an 18.8% increase in MRSA cases (but that is from 16 to 19). Cardiff and Vale and Powys made the 20% target.
Everyone, apart from Betsi Cadwaladr, which saw a 4.8% reduction, has seen an increase in MSSA cases, biggest increase is Hywel Dda up 42.3% from 71 to 101.
