Glamorgan Remembers

This section of the official website of Glamorgan CCC is a commemoration of the contribution made by members of the cricketing community of Wales during the First and Second World War.

“Glamorgan Remembers” recalls the activities by the professional and amateur cricketers from the Principality whilst they were on active service for King and Country, and attempts to ensure that their actions and deeds either at home, or on foreign fields are fittingly remembered and not forgotten in the mists of time.

The following pages contain a series of notes on the players who died, who were injured or were decorated for their deeds whilst on military service. More players will be added in the course of the coming months, in addition to the content being augmented by material collected by clubs and schools from throughout Wales for a series of exhibits and displays during 2016 and beyond in the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket at the headquarters of Glamorgan Cricket at The SSE SWALEC in Cardiff.
