Glamorgan have recalled opening batsman Gareth Rees for their crucial YB40 match against Somerset at the Swalec Stadium today (4.40pm).
Rees had been left out of all forms of cricket before marking his recent recall in the County Championship with two hundreds.
This has persuaded Glamorgan bosses to hand the Llanelli left-hander a return for the 40-over clash in Cardiff.
Former England paceman Simon Jones is also included in the 13-man squad after recovering from a shoulder injury and returning in the final match of the failed T20 campaign.
Spinner Andrew Salter and left-armer Alex Jones, who starred this week in Glamorgan 2nd XI’s victory over Warwickshire, have also been included in the squad.
Glamorgan have five matches left in this competition, which represents their final chance of silverware this summer as they bid to reach the semi-finals.
