Police investigate after body of young man discovered in Cardiff park

The body of a young man has been found in a Cardiff park.

South Wales Police said they had received the report of a sudden death at Moorland Park, in the Splott area, of the city on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesman for the force said: “The body of a 23-year-old male was found by a member of the public at approximately 12.20pm on Saturday.”

They added that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
