First of all: Congratulations Jay James Picton!

The dad-of-one from Saundersfoot clinched the ONLY Welsh place in the X Factor live shows over the weekend.

And like the rest of those lucky enough to sing on the show next weekend, he’s had a massive make-over.

He’s still got the stubble, but it’s more designer than forgot to shave this morning.

The slouchy, chewing-gum white jumper he pulled on for his audition has been binned and now he’s in a shirt and en trend knit.

And in another shot, he’s suited and booted and looks like Tenby’s answer to crooner Michael Bublé .
