Saturday 2nd November 2013 Location – Cardiff’s Cooper’s Field Open for First Entry at 4:30 pm Childrens Fireworks Display 5.45pm Bonfire 6:15pm Fireworks set off at 7:00pm There are other attractions besides the fireworks, detailed in the link below. Whitchurch Fire Station
The Whitchurch Fire Station will be hosting their Annual Firework Display on the 5th November, with the gates opening at 18.00pm. Tickets are priced at £5 for a single ticket, and £15 for a family. Whitchurch Fireworks in Cardiff
Probable Firework Displays
In recent years there have been terrific displays at: Ely’s Archer Road Rec Last years event had a memorial element in that it contained a pink theme in memory of Karina Menzies, the firework suppliers Dragon Fire provided a “a lovely big massive pink firework.” Karina was the victim of the hit-and-run in Ely, Cardiff last year. For 2013 the display has only raised £3000 of the £5000 they need for the event, we will let you know when the situation is clearer.
Fireworks in Cardiff area – Penarth Display
If you don’t mind a short drive then you could always visit Penarth. It is to be found at: Athletic Field, Lavernock Road, Penarth The event is organised by the Rotary, Round Table and Rugby Clubs of Penarth. Fireworks in Cardiff area – Caerphilly Display
North of Cardiff with a fantastic backdrop Caerphilly Castle adds to the drama with its dramatic shadows and dark moat. In 2013 it is on 2nd November .
Entrance Charge – Free Watching areas are Crescent Road, and Dafydd Williams Park. The firework display commences at 7pm and the main road of Caerphilly is closed. There is no parking between 5pm-9pm.
